Meet Chuck Van Buren...

Chuck lost his leg below the knee due to a motorcycle accident. When he first came to us twenty years ago, we thought he was ready to commit suicide. He had already been fit with a prosthesis, but was in constant pain when he walked. When he complained, his first prosthetist told him "What do you expect - you're a cripple."

In truth Chuck was a difficult fit, even for us. But with the right design and components, we put him into a prosthesis that let him not only to walk again without pain, but let him return to a hobby that he knew was forever closed to him...playing ice hockey.

Today he can work all day, coach his high school football team for two or three hours, and still have the energy to enjoy a night out with his wife.
